Step 1: Getting Started
Introduction to Dance:
- Begin your journey with our introductory classes. No prior experience or dance partner required—just bring your enthusiasm and passion for dance.
Try Out Weeks or Single Class to meet our Community:
- Take advantage of our Try Out Weeks. Explore the different dance styles (Salsa – Bachata – Kizomba) and feel what resonates with you.
Step 2: Building Foundations
Absolute Beginner Courses
- Join our beginner classes to learn the basics of various dance styles. Develop a solid foundation in rhythm, technique, and basic steps. This is a course with a build up every week, try to attend the classes consistently. Check the Bueno Student App for online class material.
Tip: Keep in touch with other students of your class to practice and communicate what is taught in class. Also, you can ask who will go to the practice nights and meet up.
Partnerwork Classes and Solo Classes:
- To become a well-rounded dancer, participate in both Partnerwork and Solo Classes at your level. These classes are essential for enhancing your skills and progressing to higher levels.
- Boost your dance qualities, which focus on body movement, music interpretation, balance, posture, timing, and more.
Step 3: Enhancing Your Skills
Intermediate and Advanced Levels:
- As you progress, our intermediate and advanced classes will challenge you further. Improve your techniques, learn complex routines, and refine your style.
Medal System:
- Our updated medal system recognizes your achievements. Consistent attendance and skill improvement will help you earn higher levels and medals. Check your status in the Bueno Student app and request assessments as needed.
Step 4: Staying Engaged – Practice – Practice – Practice!
Regular Classes, Workshops and Bootcamps:
- Continue improving your skills by attending regular classes and workshops. Stay engaged with the dance community and keep learning.
Dance Social Events:
- Participate in our exciting dance social events. We host a variety of gatherings, including:
- Connexion XXL: A grand event featuring workshops, performances, social dancing, and more.
- Socials: Regular Salsa Connexion dance meetups where you can practice and enjoy dancing with others.
- Special Edition Parties: Unique themed Salsa Connexion party that offer a fun and festive atmosphere to celebrate dance.
- Bachata Flavours: Exciting night with workshops and 80% Bachata Sensual music and a lot of socializing.
